FAQs
How long is the visit?
1
Most visits last between 60-90 minutes. This gives ample time for me to evaluate a feed, give tailored recommendations, and discuss feeding plans while not feeling rushed.
Should I feed my baby before the appointment?
2
If at all possible, try not to feed immediately before I arrive so I can observe the feeding. That being said, if your baby needs to eat, feed them ā we will work around their needs.
What should I have available?
3
Please have any pumps, bottles, nipple shields, supplements, or feeding supplies you have been using nearby.
Do you diagnose or prescribe treatment?
4
No. I provide evidence-based education, feeding assessments, and guidance. If concerns arise outside of my scope of practice, I will recommend the appropriate follow-up with your healthcare provider.
